Terms
The short, plain version. Last updated September 30, 2026.
Your writing is yours
You own everything you write in Brainlore. We don’t claim any rights to it, and we can’t read your synced journal (see How your journal is protected).
What Brainlore is, and isn’t
Brainlore is a journaling tool. It is not therapy, medical care or a crisis service, and it doesn’t diagnose or treat anything. If you’re in danger, contact local emergency services or a crisis line (988 in the US, 109 in Korea).
AI features
Claude’s prompts, reflections, Receipts and other replies are generated by AI. They can be wrong, incomplete or miss context. Treat them as suggestions, not facts or advice. Claude features have fair-use daily limits, and we may change them to keep the service running.
Fair use
Please don’t misuse the service: no trying to break its security, overload it, get around limits, share access codes publicly, or use the AI features for anything other than your own journaling.
Early access
Brainlore is new and still changing. Features may change or stop, and things can break. Keep your own copy of anything important (More → Your words are yours). The service is provided “as is”, without warranties, and to the extent the law allows, we aren’t liable for lost data or indirect damages.
Your account
You can delete your account at any time in the app. We may suspend accounts or access codes that break these terms.
Paid plans
If paid plans are offered, their price, billing, renewal and refund terms will be shown clearly before you buy, and you’ll be able to cancel anytime.
Changes
If these terms change, we’ll update this page and the date above. Questions: More → Send feedback in the app.
